Why I'm building Vayl

Hi, I'm Bryan.

Non-monogamy is my life. It brought me some of the highest highs and lowest lows I've ever known, but above all, it brought me purpose. In this community I found alignment, and a deep desire to serve the people who navigate it in the shadows. Advocacy felt like the right place to start. During my undergraduate degree I had the good fortune of working under one of the leading researchers in the study of consensual non-monogamy, and I've been immersed in the research ever since.

This fall, I start an almost decade-long process to become a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. But I don't want to wait that long to make an impact. Vayl feels like the culmination of everything that brought me here, and the clearest way I know to show up for this community right now.
